Actor's Express calls this big-little drama "a provocative excavation of modern faith." When a beloved minister steps up to the pulpit to share a new belief the revelation rocks and divides his entire church community. The Christians comes from playwright Lucas Hnath (Broadway's current A Doll's House, Part 2). It had its world premiere at the prestigious Humana Festival of New American Plays in 2014 and, in 2015, ran off-Broadway. The acting company includes a church choir.
